Curricular Themes

Multiple curricular themes that support longitudinal, integrated teaching in areas that cut across the curriculum are taught throughout all four years of the MD Program. These thematic areas are coordinated by designated faculty leads, with teaching carried out by a variety of teachers.

Themes are grouped into three major categories:

  • related to priority population groups
  • related to CanMEDS roles
  • related to specific content areas
